Hard Cider Drizzle

A light garlicky, gingery drizzle made with dry hard cider. Perfect for topping roasted pork, chicken or beef.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger finely grated
  • 1 12-ounce bottle dry hard cider I used Snow Capped Cider
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Warm olive oil in a small saucepan over medium-low heat.
  • Add garlic and ginger, cooking for about one minute or until fragrant.
  • Pour in hard cider or your choice of liquids.
  • Bring to a light boil and allow cider to simmer until reduced by half.
  • Add honey and season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • Drizzle over your dish of choice to serve.

Notes

Stores in the fridge up to three days, so making ahead is possible.
