A Trader's Joe's special Whole Grain Salad with Cranberries and Soyatash using the Harvest Blend Grain Mix, Soyatash, carrots, dried cranberries, greens and parmesan cheese.

Instructions
  1. Cook barley in 1 cup water until al dente, about 25 minutes.
  2. Blanch Trader Joe's soyatash in boiling water for about 3 minutes. Remove from water and drain. Pour into a large bowl.
  3. Mix red lentils with Trader Joe's Harvest Grains Blend and cook together in recommended water for ten minutes. Put chopped carrot and garlic into the pot with the couscous blend during the last 3 to 4 minutes of cooking.
  4. Add cooked Harvest Blend to the soyatash along with cooked barley.
  5. Mix in dried cranberries, cheese, olive oil, lemon juice, vinegar, salt, pepper and red pepper flakes. Allow flavors to meld for at least 10 minutes before serving.
  6. Serve at room temperature.
Recipe Notes

Would also be tasty with fresh herbs such as mint, basil, cilantro or rosemary.
