Lavender and Lemon Shortbread Cookies Yum
Flowery lavender blends well with the crisp bursts of citrus in these easy to make Lavender and Lemon Shortbread Cookies.
  1. Holding back the egg yolk, mix the rest of the ingredients together until they resemble breadcrumbs. Add the egg yolk and mix gently until you can form a soft ball of dough.
  2. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and place in the fridge for about a half an hour.
  3. Preheat oven to 325° F and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  4. Roll out the dough onto a floured surface to about 1/4″ thick. Using a cookie cutter or upside down glass, cut out the dough and place on the prepared cookie sheet.
  5. Bake the cookies for 8-10 minutes or until they are turning light brown.
  6. Remove from the oven and cool.
