Homemade Corn Tortillas Yum
Fresh homemade corn tortillas are so much tastier than store bought and easy to make.

Instructions
  1. Mix masa, cornmeal, salt, nutmeg and baking powder in a medium-size bowl.
  2. Add olive oil and 1/2 cup water. Stir and pull mixture together in a dough. Add more water as needed until dough is holding together. It will slightly sticky.
  3. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
  4. Divide dough into 10 pieces and roll into balls.
  5. Roll out dough to about an 1/8" thick, between two sheets of plastic or parchment paper or use a tortilla press.
  6. Cook tortilla in the hot skillet for about 30 seconds on each side. Remove and keep warm in a towel. Use as desired.
Recipe Notes

It is easier to make homemade corn tortillas using a tortilla press but you can roll them out.
