Apple, Pear and Thyme Topping Yum
The perfect fall flavors combine with apple, pears and fresh thyme with cinnamon to form an excellent topping for pancakes, ice cream or anything you need a topping on.

  1. Put sliced apples and pears into a large skillet with olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add brown sugar, honey, water, cinnamon and black pepper. Stir well and allow apples and pears to cook down until they are soft. Sprinkle with salt.
  3. Add a touch more water if needed to make sure you have plenty of syrup.
  4. Serve warm or at room temperature.
