chocolate drinks with chocolateI absolutely adore chocolate, especially dark chocolate, don’t you?

I find reasons to justify my chocolate indulgence. “It’s healthy to eat chocolate.” “Chocolate reduces stress.” “I need the antioxidants.”

Chocolate a weakness. It’s an addiction. It’s love.

And it’s not all about eating my chocolate. It’s about drinking it as well.

chocolate drinks and pastries in romeI love drinking thick cups of Italian cioccolata calda (hot chocolate) while nibbling flaky pastries, seated at Roman sidewalk cafes, watching people rush about their daily lives.

Or sipping a beautiful chocolate martini while listening to soul warming music in the company of friends and family.

Chocolate is my antidote for all that is going wrong in life. Eat or drink chocolate and suddenly life is better.

Even when life is going great, chocolate makes it even better.

So whether it’s eating, sipping, slurping, licking or however you like to eat your chocolate, I’m sure you’ll love one or all of these 12 totally slurpable chocolate drinks recipes.

Just like a Little Bit of Bacon’s recipe for Cinnamon Infused Thick Italian Hot Chocolate (Cioccolata Calda) is just like the chocolate of my memories.
